Your vagina has an efficient, perfectly balanced way of keeping itself clean and healthy. However this doesn’t mean there aren’t things we can do to maintain good hygiene, from avoiding unnecessary products such as feminine douches to washing every day .

Do's
- Wash your intimate area after using the washroom,
-Wipe yourself from front to back
-Do use a soft, fluffy towel to dry off
- Steam with water (or infused with herbs) for 20+ minutes
- For yeast infections, it can help to eat sugar free yogurt and drink sugar free cranberry juice.
*However definitely visit your personal health care provider if you are experiencing yeast infection.*
Dont's
- Use any products containing irritants or allergens.
- "Regular soap" or scented soap
- Wear synthetic, tight-fitting panties that restrict air circulation
- Spend the whole day wearing the same pad or panty liner
- Use aerosol-based or fragrant deodorant to make your intimate parts "smell better".
-Douching will only cover up the problem and potentially make things worse.
